  • Go straight.(まっすぐ進んでください。)
  • Turn left/right.(左/右に曲がってください。)

  • It’s next to…(~の隣にあります。)
  • Take the first/second street on the left/right.(最初の/2番目の通りを左/右に曲がってください。)

Passerby: The nearest station is just around the corner. Go straight for about 100 meters, then turn left.
You: Thank you! How far is it from here?
Passerby: It’s about 5 minutes on foot. You can’t miss it.

Situation 2: 道を案内する (Giving Directions)

You: Excuse me, can you help me find the post office?
Passerby: Sure! Go straight for two blocks, then turn right. The post office will be on your left, next to the convenience store.

Passerby: You’re welcome!
